Polar bears are a symbol of strength, and yet they are so fragile now due to our continued misuse of plastic. Scientists have found plastic even in the most remote places in the Arctic, somewhere once thought to be untouched by the plastic crisis. Even recent studies have found that 25% of polar bears have ingested plastic, including plastic bags while rummaging in garbage which leading to various health problems (wildlife.org).

My aim in this series is to raise awareness about our misuse of plastic and how it affects even the furthest reaches of the globe.
